That bar downstairs
Loft 11 is situated right in the centre of town and above a cocktail bar, so you may hear some noise. We’ve installed the most serious sound insulation possible, but you may still hear some sound from below.
Access
The Loft is a first floor apartment with two flights of stairs. Unfortunately due to building restraints there is no lift access so we are unable to easily accommodate disabled guests.
Ducking
Remember to DUCK! We have some very low beams in our mezzanine lounge so please watch your head up there and on the spiral staircase.
Hot or cold
Our spacious bathroom adequately caters for a loft full of guests but we chose not to include a bath. We hope you enjoy the supersonic overhead shower instead.

Henderson & Glass

Our sister coffee and cocktail concept, Henderson & Glass, sits right below the Loft. Serving up home roasted coffee and plates packed with Manx produce by day, and master crafted cocktails by night.
The Gaiety Theatre

Fully restored to its former early 1900 glory, the Frank Matcham Theatre sits proudly on the seafront. Having celebrated its 125th birthday in 2020, it’s one of the most unique and celebrated theatres in Europe.
Douglas Promenade

A stone’s throw away from the Loft, Douglas promenade stretches a mile and half. Stroll along the beach, grab an ice cream (or a pint) and have your picture taken with the Island’s most famous threesome - The BeeGees…
Transport

Loft 11 is a five minute walk to the main bus station and taxi rank. Or if you’re feeling nostalgic, take the Steam Train down south or Manx Electric Railway up to the top of the mountain.
